The Sunrise Wind HDVC substation arrived at the Aker Solutions Shipyard in late 2023. The project will be the first offshore project in the US to use HVDC transmission technology.
StS have a current ongoing contract to supply Aker Solutions with Riggers and Rope Access Technicans for the long term project onshore at the Aker Stord yard in Norway.
