StS Resources and Technology are planning to make 2013 an even greater success than previous years, and to help they are implementing a new environmental system. StS supply services and manpower to the oil and gas market. The company are striving towards being a more environmentally friendly business by making changes to the way they do everyday tasks.
The ISO 14001 standard provides assurance to customers, and suppliers that the environmental impact of the business is being measured and improved. The company is working towards the 14001 Standard by putting into place an Environmental Management System to be integrated into their existing Quality system. The overall aim of the system is to support environmental protection and prevention of pollution.
By applying an Environmental Management System this will allow StS to create goals and targets for the business to meet in relation to becoming more environmentally friendly.

This standard will make our company stand out from the competitors hopefully bringing more work to our business, creating more jobs for people in the local and surrounding area."
StS aim to have the ISO 14001 implemented by March 2013. An auditor from Teknologisk Institute in Norway is visiting the company in March to complete a follow up assessment on the ISO 9001:2008 that the company was certified for in 2011. A key objective for StS Resources and Technology in 2013 is to maintain and improve on the quality of their business and the services they provide.
