StS has supported Weatherford with its completion work for CNOOC, working on board the Shelf Drilling Fortress (Formally known as Noble Sam Hartley) at the Buzzard Oil Field in the North Sea. The scope was a lower completion of the fibre optic cable.
StS provided 4 Habitat systems with a bespoke enclosure. As this was in a ATEX Zone 1 area StS’ Habitat system enabled hot works to be carried out on the drill deck whilst in full production which minimises costs.
StS personnel worked closely with Weatherford and CNOOC personnel to ensure scope went according to plan without incident or delay.
