Scope: Weatherford continuing completions work for CNOOC. The scope was a lower completion of the fibre optic cable.
Location: Shelf Drilling Fortress - Buzzard Oil Field - North Sea
Service: StS provided 4 Habitat systems with a bespoke enclosure. As this was in a ATEX Zone 1 area - StS’ Habitat system enabled hot works to be carried out on the drill deck whilst in full production which minimises costs for the client.
Result: StS personnel worked closely alongside Weatherford and CNOOC personnel to ensure scope went according to plan without incident or delay.
